Mindfulness as an approach to healthcare has become increasingly popular and its range of uses continues to expand. This is an invitation to find out more about the background, the courses, the research, which books and articles might be useful as well as links to other websites.
More recently, the importance of compassion has come to the fore as an important component of mindfulness work. Kindness and compassion have always been a vital part of my life so I have trained to teach the Mindful Self-Compassion Course (MSC) with Chris Germer and Kristin Neff and am now also a Teacher Trainer in MSC.
I hope that the information here will help you to find out what Mindfulness and Mindful-Self Compassion have to offer you in your life, your work and your relationships.
Most of all, I hope that some of the things that you find here help you to take a pause during whatever difficulties there are in your life right now and reconnect with yourself with kindness if only for a few moments.
As I am currently facilitating a considerable amount of training I regret that I am not teaching any 8-week courses. However, I am teaching the MSC course as a Mindfulness Self-Compassion 5-Day Intensive and also facilitating Mindfulness & Self-Compassion Retreats for those who have taken the MSC course in either the 8-week or 5-Day format.
We now have a Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher Training taking place in the UK in February 2019.
Eluned Gold and I are offering a weekend retreat for grandparents in Wales March 8-10 2019.
